Oral Health is the single greatest unmet need for people with HIV. The Geisel-Morris Dental Clinic is a state of the art dental clinic. A full-time dentist, dental assistant, dental case manager and contract dental hygienists provide excellent oral care to clients with HIV/AIDS. TCAIN opened the Geisel-Morris Dental Clinic in November 2002 to meet the needs of Tarrant County and the seven surrounding counties.
XPRESS MEDS is a program wherein staff and volunteers pick up prescription medications from John Peter Smith Hospital and local pharmacies, and deliver them to clients registered in the program.
EL SOL is a support group for individuals living with AIDS that focuses on peer support and health promotion. Through a series of workshops, participants learn ways of improving and maintaining physical, mental and spiritual health.
Physician Lecture Series is a lunch and learn education series to keep clients, medical and social work professionals informed on the latest issues and breakthroughs on the HIV pandemic. Physicians and other medical professionals speak on the latest topics related to HIV.
Community Education offers information and education to faith communities and other organizations. Programs include HIV information, panel discussions, a spiritual response to AIDS and a number of special topics, including prevention education.
Minority Outreach connects with historically underserved populations to promote awareness of HIV disease, provide information on prevention, and provide client services as well as volunteer opportunities.
